The company’s owners, Mike and Angela Ragsdale, said that these two newest acquisitions complete their collection.
“As entrepreneurs ourselves, we really love sharing and promoting our community’s hidden treasures,” said Mike. “These new URLs will enable us to drive even more traffic to local businesses.”
The company recently launched a new line of 30A-branded apparel, pledging 15 percent of ongoing profits to Children’s Volunteer Health Network, a local organization that provides free medical and dental care for uninsured children in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. The company also recently raised $1,100 during Seaside Neighborhood School’s 2nd Annual 30A-Radiothon.
The couple promises more announcements in 2009, including both on-line and off-line partnerships and initiatives. But for now, mum’s the word.
“We’ve really had fun growing the 30A site and brand in 2008,” said Angela. “This is a nice way to end the year.”
