The Village of South Walton Beach is arguably the “town center” of Seacrest (located between Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach), although Seacrest is a little hard to define because of its sprawling nature. (The name “Seacrest” was said to be coined by Miss Sallie Williams, for her beachfront land that was within the then-undefined space between Seagrove and Emerald Crest.)
The Merchants of Seacrest Beach include several cute shops and restaurants, including La Cocina as well as a convenience store called Seacrest Sundries. There are also plenty of ice cream, snack, jewelry and t-shirt shops here too.
The bubbling fountains out front are a persistent hit with bare-footed kids and weary parents seeking a momentary diversion. Moms and daughters will love browsing (and buying) in Ophelia Swimwear, one of 30A’s hottest clothing boutiques.
