YOLO Board Elite Team Rider Ingo Rademacher can be seen back on ABC’s General Hospital reprising his popular role of Jasper “Jax” Jacks for a five-week cameo. Rademacher just wrapped up a busy summer season traveling the West Coast competing in elite standup paddleboard races, including the Molokai 2 Oahu World Championship, a 32-mile race across the treacherous Ka’iwi Channel between the Hawaiian Islands of Molokai and Oahu.

“I’ve had an amazing year both professionally and personally,” said Rademacher, who welcomed his second child in May. “Being able to represent YOLO out on the water and in races has been a great experience, and I’m excited to return to the General Hospital set to see what’s in store for Jax and reconnect with my friends and fans.”

Rademacher finished fifth in his age division in the Molokai 2 Oahu and then second in the seven-mile Wet Feet North Shore WPA National Race, also in Oahu. He traveled with YOLO Board elite teammate EJ Johnson to compete in both the Naish Columbia Gorge Paddle Challenge in Hood River, OR and the Quicksilver Ta-Hoe Nalu Paddle Festival in Lake Tahoe, CA, both long distance races. Rademacher is scheduled to race in the upcoming Rainbow Sandals Battle of the Paddle in Dana Point, CA in September and he has qualified to compete in the 17th Annual Hennessey’s World SUP/Paddle Championships in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Originally from Germany and raised in Australia, Ingo has been working as a U.S.-based actor for over 15 years. He now resides in Oahu with his family when not acting on location. He hosts Camp YOLO Board Hawaii; an exclusive, week-long SUP enthusiast race camp on Oahu’s famed North Shore. The first camp debuted in June 2012 and future dates are currently being scheduled.

“Ingo is a true waterman and we couldn’t be prouder to have him on our team,” said Jeff Archer, co-founder of YOLO Board. “His passion and aptitude for SUP shines through in everything he does for the sport and we congratulate him on his recent successes on the racing circuit.”

Established in 2006 along the world-renowned beaches and diverse waterways of Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, YOLO Board is a standup paddleboard (SUP) brand that is aptly named for the lifestyle mantra, “You Only Live Once.”

“Jeff Archer and co-founder Tom Losee didn’t invent SUP or its boards, but their savvy, marketing-driven approach has made the Santa Rosa Beach, Florida-based company an industry leader in just five years,” said Entrepreneur magazine.

The company manufactures a variety of boards suited to fit any paddler, from the recreational novice to the elite pro racer. Rentals, lessons, corporate and team building packages and seasonal community race events are available through YOLO Board Adventures in WaterColor, Florida and in Old Town San Diego, California.
