Geoff McBride Announces New Album Project
30A’s very own Geoff McBride just announced an exciting new crowd-funding project.
What’s crowd-funding? It’s basically asking a crowd of supporters and fans to donate any amount of money to help fund a cause or project, but in exchange for specific rewards. So you’re not just donating money — you’re buying something to help get a project going!

Geoff is the Santa Rosa Beach resident who was recently a part of “Team XTina” on Season 2 of NBC’s The Voice. But he’s also a former Arista Records recording artist, and has traveled the world performing with numerous artists. Since 2006, Geoff’s been performing at venues throughout the region, including The Old Florida Fish House, The Ocean Club, the former First Note Music Hall, Schooner’s, The Boatyard and many others. Geoff has also performed at local events such as the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center’s gala, the Covenant Hospice gala and Arts Quest, and will also take the stage at the upcoming PCB Seafood & Music Festival, Chautauqua Winery Harvest Festival, Share the Shelter Fest, 30A Songwriters Festival and numerous private events.
His new crowd-funding campaign is designed to help fund Geoff’s upcoming project entitled, The Journey to the Soul. The budget will not only go toward creating this wonderful new soul album, but will also help pay for musicians, photography, graphic design, duplication, promotion, radio play, mechanical licensing in the U.S. and other countries. (A lot more goes into bringing music to the world than just the album these days!)
The album will be released in Canada, The U.K., Germany, Holland, France, Japan and many other countries.
