Tuesday, December 23
The Pearl on Rosemary Beach is hosting a Gingerbread Tea with afternoon tea service and gingerbread house decorating. The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the ballroom. Cost is $25 per adult and $15 for kids. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 850-588-2882.
A special Seaside Farmer’s Market will be held on Tuesday, featuring lots of fresh food for your holiday meals and plenty of unique gifts. The market will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Take a break from the holiday buzz with an intimate Grayt Coffee Hour performance by Mose Wilson at Grayt Coffee. The show starts at 6 p.m.
Christmas Eve
Rosemary Beach has two candlelight Christmas Eve Candlelight Services this year. Chapel at the Beach will hold a service from 5 to 6 p.m. on the Western Green. Be sure to arrive early to get a seat or bring a blanket or chair. In case of inclement weather, services will be held at Rosemary Beach Town Hall. At 8 p.m., Apostles By-the-Sea will hold a candlelight service inside the Town Hall.
Seaside will also host two Christmas Eve Candlelight Services, one at 5 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. Both will be held at the Seaside Chapel. The 5 p.m. service fills up early, so plan ahead.
Havana Beach Bar and Grill at the Pearl at Rosemary Beach is serving a special three-course Christmas Eve meal from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Cost is $75 per adult, $35 per child. Reservations are required. Call 850-588-2882 for more information.
The Village of Baytowne Wharf will put on a festive light show set to popular holiday tunes at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The show is held in the Events Plaza.
The Bay will hold a Sunset Bonfire Jam with Forrest Williams and friends at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve dinner service will be available until 8 p.m.
Redd’s Fueling Station will hold their Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Contest from 5 to 11 p.m. Stop in for music by Redd, the singing bartender, and anyone else who wants to come out and play. Prizes will be awarded for best, worst and ugliest holiday sweaters.
Christmas Day
V Seagrove will open the bar at 5 p.m. for a special Christmas Happy Hour on Christmas Day. The regular dining room will be closed. Call 850-468-0973 for more information.

The Hilton at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will serve up a lavish Christmas Buffet at the Sandcastles Restaurant from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The buffet will feature traditional holiday dishes alongside coastal favorites. Cost is $38.95 for adults. Children ages 6-12 eat for $14.95 and children 5 and under eat for free. Reservations are recommended. Please call 850-267-9500 ext. 44.
Make your Christmas an almost-white one by visiting the ice skating rink at the Village Baytowne Wharf. The popular Baytowne on Ice will be open from 4 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Friday, December 27
The day after Christmas, join the Forrest Williams Band for the second-annual Tacky Turtleneck Christmas party at Local Catch Bar and Grill. The party starts at 8 p.m.
Also, visit the new 30A Store all day Friday for a sidewalk sale with great specials on gear, including half off all Christmas gear, $10 and $15 deals on last year’s one-of-a-kind designs and a bargain bin. Grab a cold 30A Beach Blonde or a steaming cup of 30A Florida Sunrise Coffee while you’re there.
