Vue on 30a will host a very special JUSTIN Wine Dinner on Wednesday, July 16th, starting at 5:45 p.m.With its spectacular Gulf-front view as the backdrop, the restaurant’s award winning chef, Giovanni Filippone, has prepared a multi-course dinner menu inspired by summer time coastal living. The dinner will feature wines from JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery.
“Chef Gio’s passion for fresh and authentic culinary creations shows through beautifully with the specially prepared wine dinner,” said Tim Cole, Vue on 30a’s manager. “Our team looks forward to creating a new tradition of wine dinners in one of South Walton’s most spectacular dining venues.”
The special dinner menu and wine pairings include:
Course One: Tomato, Onion and Mozzarella Salad paired with Landmark Overlook Chardonnay
Course Two: Pan-Seared Scallops with Vanilla Sauce paired with Landmark Pinot Noir
Course Three: Thinly-Sliced Dried Aged Tenderloin with Asian Mushrooms paired with JUSTIN Cabernet Sauvignon
Course Four: Panco-Breaded Lamb Chops over Purple Mash with Asparagus in a Rosemary Demi paired with JUSTIN Justification
Course Five: New York Cheesecake paired with JUSTIN Obtuse
This is the first in a series of special wine dinners planned by Vue on 30a. Reservations are required, and the price is $75 per person. Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club Member Pricing is $65 per person. The price is exclusive of tax or service charge.
