The Northwest Florida Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association will host its next professional development luncheon on Tuesday, September 18th at 11:30 AM at Cantina Laredo in Grand Boulevard.
Julio Fernandez, VP of Search Marketing & Analytics at SocialShelfSpace.com, will share insights into the digital world of public relations.
Attendees will learn advanced techniques to increase visibility and conversations online. Fernandez will share the latest information on signals online profiles are sending to search engines and how brands can dominate the search engine results pages. In addition, Fernandez will cover recommendations for brands from his recent article in The Huffington Post, “Tips for Athletes and Brands to Improve Their Online Profiles.”
Fernandez is Vice President of Search Marketing and Analytics at SocialShelfSpace.com, a local agency that combines search engine optimization with influencer outreach to deliver measurable effects.
With more than 15 years of marketing experience, Fernandez has worked on both the client side, as Global Marketing Director for database leader Oracle Corporation, as well as the agency side with Ogilvy & Mather, working on award winning projects for IBM, Intel and the country of Mexico, to name just a few.
The September program includes lunch and costs $15 for members, $12 for students and $20 for non-members. Please bring cash or check for payment. Public relations practitioners and interested professionals are invited.
