Sunquest Cruises’ SOLARIS
Ring in the New Year in true Emerald Coast style and on the water. SunQuest Cruises is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks, Dinner and Dancing Cruise on the SOLARIS yacht on Wednesday, December 31, from 8 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
Patrons will embark on a memorable evening that includes a five-course seated dinner, live entertainment, fireworks, party favors and champagne.
“New Year’s Eve is our ultimate celebration on the water,” said James Murray, General Manager for SunQuest Cruises. “We combine the best of all worlds from cruising our local waters to indulging in a gourmet meal to enjoying the best seat in the house for fireworks. It’s all about creating fond memories and happiness for our guests.”
While the SOLARIS cruises the local waters, the five-course culinary adventure begins with a Prosciutto-wrapped Goat Cheese Persimmons with Autumn drizzle, followed by a Roast Butternut Squash Soup with Lump Crab and Sherry reduction. Next, guests will enjoy a Wild Green Salad featuring Rocket Arugula, shaved Manchego, Duck Confit and Fig Balsamic dressing. Entrée choices include Herb-Encrusted Filet Mignon, Cornbread & Andouille-stuffed Breast of Chicken, Gulf Gropper-topped Shrimp Scampi and Harvest Vegetables. The meal concludes with Chef’s New Year’s Celebration Dessert.
The soiree on the water continues with live music that can be heard from all three decks. At final countdown, guests will grab party favors and raise a glass to 2015 with a midnight Champagne toast. The sky will illuminate above them as they enjoy the best seat in the house for the fireworks show from the nearby Sandestin resort. Sandestin also offers a variety of accommodations on-property for anyone seeking a worry-free night.
The SOLARIS New Year’s Eve Fireworks and Dinner Cruise is an all-inclusive event for $110 per person, including a 4 ½ hour cruise, five-course meal, live entertainment, fireworks, party favors and champagne. All guests over 21 are welcome to attend.
