We’re super-excited to announce a major upgrade of our free 30A iPhone app – Version 4.0!
We first launched our 30A app in March of 2009, and since then, it’s been installed on over 32,000 iPhones. It’s also been rated 900 times, averaging 4.5 out of 5 stars!
So, what’s new in Version 4.0?
Well, for starters, with so many locals and visitors relying on the 30A app for info every day, we moved everything to a dedicated server. Huh? Well, basically, this will help ensure that the app will be much, much faster and more reliable during peak seasons. The new app also gives fans access to hundreds of 30A features, events, restaurants, photos, videos, beach safety updates, weather info and interactive maps. You can even buy 30A Gear — all on your phone!
The new 30A iPhone app features a dramatically improved interface and menu, with hi-resolution retina display graphics, and it’s optimized for iOS 6 and iPhone 5 users.
The 30A app’s available for free download right now through Apple’s iTunes Store.
