Paella, Flamenco Music and Dancing at Gulf Place Party

Looking for something different to do? Come out to Gulf Place on Saturday, January 16, to enjoy some delicious Spanish paella along with live Flamenco music and dancing.

The Paella Party is hosted by Real Paella, the only business of its kind in North Florida, specializing in paella, a signature dish of Spain that brings families and friends together around the giant pan from which the delectable dish is served.

Chefs will prepare the dish on site and then attendees will get to enjoy it along with a complimentary glass of Sangria. An internationally award-winning guitar player will perform flamenco fusion live and a group of dancers will join him for a special flamenco performance.

“It’s a cultural thing, it’s music and dancing and eating, the whole experience,” said Real Paella owner Juan Ten.

“Not too many people know about paella or flamenco dancing, it’s something people will be seeing for the first time. I think it will be good for everybody.”

The party will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Gulf Place amphitheater. Tickets are $40 and include paella and a complimentary glass of Sangria. La Playa will have an outside bar selling alcoholic beverages as well.
