Here at The 30A Company, we’re constantly seeking new ways to recycle and reduce human impact on the environment. For example, our new 30A Dumpster Diver apparel line is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and recycled cotton!
At 30A’s Global Headquarters (a.k.a. the small office and warehouse space we cram into every day), we have a ban on single-use plastic bottles. Instead we installed a water filter system and use stainless steel reusable water bottles. (Find some great designs here!) We also recently began using 100% recycled packaging to ship all of our orders from 30A Gear.
We know there’s so much more we all could be doing, so we recently reached out to our 420,000+ 30A Facebook Fans and asked them to post their favorite tips and tricks for recycling and reducing their environmental impact. As you can see below, we received a ton of original responses!

“We reuse empty food containers by making them into baby toys. A plastic container filler with popcorn kernels, sand, salt, etc., will keep the kiddos entertained for several minutes. Just hot glue the lid shut for safety.” – Michelle Maloney Farnham

“We take our plastic bags and batteries to Lowe’s or Walmart’s recycle stations. Recycle our electronics through Best Buy’s Geek Squad and use travel mugs instead of water bottles.” – Rhonda Brasher Bottoms
