It’s Time For a Girls Getaway: Full Schedule Released

Looking to get away for a few days and spend a weekend with just the ladies? The 10th annual Rosemary Beach Girls Getaway is the perfect opportunity for women to celebrate and come together for laughter, fun and a good cause, and they have just released their full schedule of events!

Nashville musicians Nicole Witt and Kaci Bolls will return to the four-day event, which will be held January 29 through February 1, 2015, at Rosemary Beach. The weekend also includes an iPhone photography workshop, cooking demonstrations, a dance party, Sunday brunch with live music, great food and drinks, shopping, a tour of homes, book signings, author talks and more.

On Thursday evening, Nicole Witt and Kaci Bolls will kick the weekend off with a concert of pieces from Witt’s new Songwriter Sessions project. You can also join International Photographer and Creative Director, Colleen Duffley, for a photographic adventure, and learn key techniques needed to transform your Smartphone snaps into amazing images.

Here is a schedule of events for the weekend:

THURSDAY, JANUARY 29
7 p.m. — Registration with wine and light snacks (Rosemary Beach Town Hall)
7:30 – 9 p.m. — Songwriters Concert featuring Kaci Bolls and Nicole Witt (Rosemary Beach Town Hall)

FRIDAY, JANUARY 30
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. — iPhoneography 101: Colleen Duffley  (Rosemary Beach Town Hall)
12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.  — Champagne & Tablescapes  (The Pearl –  $20 per person)
2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. — Book Signing and Talk with authors:  Christy Bright, Prissy Elrod, Cym Lowell and James Harvey (The Hidden Lantern)
4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. — Happy Hour with light hors d’oeuvres and wine (In the newly constructed Rosemary Beach Owner’s Center)



SATURDAY, JANUARY 31
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. — Food and Wine Pairing with Chef Chris Trovas  (Wild Olives)
12 p.m. – 4 p.m. — Jewelry Trunk Show with Amber E. Lea (Hidden Lantern Gallery)
2 – 4 p.m. — Tour of Homes (Rosemary Beach Realty)
3 – 4 p.m. — Open House and Floral Arranging Demonstration (Iona’s Flower Market)
5 – 7 p.m. — Open House with 20% off all merchandise (wine and cheese)  (Pish Posh Patchouli’s)
7 – 10 p.m. — Saturday Soiree: buffet dinner, dancing with DJ ‘Daric the Hit Man Daniels’, raffle, silent auction  (Acme Ice House)

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. — Brunch/Concert featuring music by Schatzi & The String Boffin, iPhone Photo Show and mimosa breakfast compliments of Townsend Catering (Rosemary Beach Town Hall)

Each attendee will receive a Girls Getaway bag which includes a Beach Appetit cookbook from The Junior League of The Emerald Coast and more. In between planned activities, women can cruise around the town of Rosemary Beach on beach bikes, hit the local shops and restaurants or visit the gorgeous beaches along the Gulf of Mexico.



Proceeds from the event benefit The Suzy Fund of Sacred Sacred Heart Hospital of the Emerald Coast, which provides free mammograms for under-served women in Northwest Florida, along with their Women’s Services department.

There are plenty of great places to stay in Rosemary Beach, including the Pearl Hotel, which is offering a hotel special for Girls Getaway attendees that comes with a bottle of champagne and welcome package amenities.
