President’s Day weekend in Seaside will be filled with shopping, live music, delectable food, and fun activities for the entire family.

Friday, February 13, at 7 p.m., Central Square Cinema will host a special screening of the film ‘Frozen’ in the Seaside Amphitheater. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the movie under the stars.

Saturday, February 14, the Seaside Farmers Market will be held in the Amphitheater from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet local growers and crafts people who offer food, produce, cooking demonstrations, specialty items, artisan cheeses and breads. Then join your favorite Seaside retailers when they step out of their stores and shops to offer you end-of-the-season savings. The Merchants of Seaside will be lining Central Square, Cinderella Circle and Ruskin Place with incredible items at special pricing during the annual sidewalk sale from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Participating merchants will offer discounted fall and winter merchandise from Seaside’s unique boutiques and shops for the one day event, not to be missed by those looking to enhance their 2015 wardrobe or needing a gift for friends and family.

Saturday, February 14 at 4 p.m. Roman Street will put on a special President’s Day Weekend concert. This energetic band out of Mobile, Ala., dabbles in the arts of “new” flamenco, smooth and not-so-smooth jazz, and its own brand of fusion style music. Since their college years, Brothers Noah and Josh Thompson have developed into a Billboard/iTunes charting band who many have dubbed ‘the next generation’ of Jazz Fusion.

Sunday, February 15, join Seaside for a family-filled Mardi Gras celebration! At noon, there will be face painting and balloon animals. At 2 p.m., a Krewe of Wee-De-Lis children’s parade will march through the town featuring the Village Brass Band. After the parade, at 2:30 p.m., there will be a special performance in the Seaside Amphitheater by Cartunes, which is guaranteed to get attendees up on their feet and dancing.
