Sheriff Shares 1 Easy Tip to Avoid a $350 Fine

Walton County Sheriff Michael Adkinson says you better know what Operation Blue Bird is, or you could end up with a $350 fine or more!

The focus of Operation Blue Bird is school zone and school bus safety. A Task Force will assemble each day from patrol positions to address traffic concerns in different school zones throughout the county. Details will run from 7 to 8 a.m. and from 2 to 3 p.m. and will include deputies running radar, looking for infractions and following school buses along their routes to make sure drivers are obeying traffic laws.
