The 8th Annual South Walton Elf Ride, benefiting the South Walton Fire District’s Angel Tree Program, will take place at 1 p.m. on December 6. The Elf Ride has grown every year with around 200 people last year donating over 250 gifts for the Angel Tree program.
This year, the ride has a new route plan and will meet at Van Ness Butler Jr. Beach access in WaterColor. The elves will bike, walk or long board 1.5 miles through the back streets of WaterColor before arriving at the fire station on County Highway 395.
Bring at least one gift, decorate your bikes, and join in the fun to help kick off the holiday season.
Fun activities planned for the event include meeting Santa, face painting, refreshments and fire truck tours! There will be prizes for Youngest Elf, Best Costume and Best-in-Show. Bruno’s Pizza will be served upon arrival. Please note that this is an alcohol-free event.
