Grand Opening
As the owner of SoWal Pilates, Brittany Lee is ready to share her passion with South Walton as she celebrates her grand opening on August 23rd.
“I’m very excited,” said Lee. “It was always my dream to come back to Florida and open my own business.”
An official ribbon cutting by the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce is set for 4 p.m. that day, celebrating the opening of SoWal Pilates and the newest location of neighboring Beachy Beach 30A real estate.
After the ribbon falls, the party gets started with live music by Sean Dietrich courtesy of Hemingway Construction, hors d’oeuvres provided by Porath and Associates, P.A. and delectable desserts courtesy of Beach Community Mortgage.
Guests are encouraged to bring their business cards for drawings and giveaways, which include pet goodies from Bow Wow Meow Pet Company, a gift card from George’s at Alys Beach, SoWal Pilates swag, clothing from Lulelemon, Zoom! Teeth Whitening courtesy of Dr. Dennis Lichorwic and much more.
There will also an opportunity to help create a one-of-a-kind live art collaboration led by BEMA artists Mary Hong and Beeb Benson, whose art will be showcased and available for purchase in both spaces.
“We hope our grand opening at our new building just west of Watersound Beach will reflect the atypical vibe of our office,” said Hilary Farnum, a 15-year veteran in Emerald Coast real estate and top selling Realtor for Watersound Beach, and one of Beachy Beach 30A’s owners. “It’s not like any other real estate office in town and you will know that the minute you walk in the door.”
Beachy Beach 30A’s unique office space was designed by Margaretten Architectural and the interior by Cerulean Interiors.
Also as part of the night’s events, SoWal Pilates and Beachy Beach 30A will be collecting donations for local charities. Beachy Beach will encourage attendees to make small donations ($1, $2 and $3) to Alaqua Animal Refuge. SoWal Pilates is partnering with Sinfonia Gulf Coast in support of their new collaboration with Sacred Heart’s Arts in Medicine initiative where Sinfonia musicians perform throughout the hospital’s Walton County campus during the next year. Attendees will be creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art that will be auctioned off at the night’s end to benefit Sinfonia.

Lee says she is ready for the big Grand Opening day.
“I will be having a donation only Mat class at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.,” Lee said. “All proceeds will benefit Sinfonia and their partnership with Sacred Heart Hospital Arts and Medicine.”
