Scheduled to open in May 2015, The Hub will be the ultimate gathering spot for 30A locals and guests with restaurants, shopping, a 2,000-square-foot stage with a 25-foot Jumbotron, an events lawn and a covered pavilion.

The Hub restaurants will include Mile Marker Fifteen, Crave Roadside Burgers, Red’s Chicken Shack and Mr. Freeze, all led by Executive Chef Nickolaus Walton. In addition, Hughey’s General Store will provide a perfect spot to pick up souvenirs, gifts and staples. The Hub will offer regularly scheduled free, fun events including concerts, movies and sporting-event broadcasts.

“We’re thrilled to invite the public into The Hub for this special preview to experience what we’ll be bringing to the 30A community with this new venture,” said Jay Etheredge, Vice President of Operations at Comer Woodford Hospitality Group. “Bring your friends and family by for a fun-filled afternoon.”

An internationally recognized composer and conductor, David Ott is a longtime fixture in the Northwest Florida classical music scene. He served as conductor for both the Northwest Florida Symphony and the Philharmonic of Northwest Florida and as guest conductor for the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra. Ott’s works have been performed and recorded by some of the most notable orchestras in the United States and Europe. The Jazz Ensemble will treat guests with renditions of classic jazz favorites and includes area musicians William Potter and Tom Latenser.
