One of the first adventures of the new year is quickly approaching… The Krewe de Yak Mardi Gras celebration!!!
Saturday, January 28th will be the 10th annual Gras Fest for Krewe de Yak of Walton County!!!
The festival will begin with a street fair with lots of local vendors at 9am. Cars of all ages, shapes, and sizes will show up from 11am – 2pm.
Circle Drive in DeFuniak Springs will be filled with food and merchandise booths of all kinds, while the cruise-in car show will feature cars vying for titles in several different categories. This
the colorful family-friendly event is fun for all ages and will have live music at the Lake DeFuniak amphitheater from noon – 2pm.
At 3 pm the beads will fly as we celebrate a DECADE of Krewe de Yak Mardi Gras parades! Krewes and local groups will circle beautiful Lake DeFuniak in celebration of the season. Come out and let the good times roll! This family-friendly event following the street fair is sure to be a delight. Show up early to reserve a good spot along the sidewalks of beautiful Lake DeFuniak.
The after-party will begin at 4:30 pm at 4C BBQ featuring entertainer Andy Avery.
