The event supports the Florida scrub jay and its habitat and the Friends of Oscar Scherer State Park. 5K begins on a paved roadway then turns onto mostly hard-packed park trails along South Creek before heading into the scrub habitat. 10K runners will encounter soft sand, uneven surfaces, and narrow bridges and trails. Virtually Anywhere option is available.
Registration is required to participate.

Race fees:
Ages 18 and under: $15.
Ages 19 and up: For registration before Dec. 19, 5K is $35 and 10K is $40; Dec. 20 to Jan. 20, 5K is $40 and 10K is $45; race day is $45.
