Intro to Handbuilding
Come join our pottery instructor Mary Kay for a complete introduction on how to master hand building with clay. This will include step by step directions on how to score and slip, use the slab roller, how to prep your clay, glazing, and general knowledge of tools in the studio. This class will include a 25lb bag of clay to experiment with.
Once you have completed this course, you are able to utilize our open studio for hand building only. Wheel use is not permitted to students who have not completed the proper courses. Please ask for more details on open studio!

Refund Policy:
Please double check your schedule when you sign up for a class because all classes, workshops, and series offered by the Center for the Arts are non-refundable.
Refunds are typically only made if there are unforeseeable circumstances with the instructor or facility. If you are sick and have to cancel, you may receive a partial credit for the class other than the instructor fees for the class sessions. This is at the discretion of the Center for the Arts.
