$65.00 – $75.00
Join us for a one day workshop with ceramic artist Tammy Marinuzzi!
Tammy will be demonstrating her techniques used to approach clay, discuss where she draws inspiration from and how to translate that into a form, and introducing students to the fundamentals of handbuilding.
As an artist, Tammy is inspired by observing the people around her, through day to day interactions, revolving around storytelling. Analyzing and examining facial expressions, gestures, and body language, all play a crucial role for Tammy when it comes to the imagination and creativity that is developed in a piece.
Tammy traditionally works with thin slabs to create her utilitarian forms, often leaving a mark of the maker, impressions and unique features that add to the overall personality.
Note: This hands-on class is ideal for beginner potters with basic experience and enthusiasts interested in slow, intentional making processes and learning the meditative practice of working with clay.
