On Tuesday, January 23rd at 10 am, the South Walton Coastal Branch Library will host a captivating presentation by composer Greg Mackender, taking center stage as part of the 2024 Escape to Create event series. Mackender’s audio/video and lecture presentation promises to enchant enthusiasts of music, visual arts, theatre, and sound production. A multi-instrumentalist and early adopter of digital audio, Mackender currently serves as the Assistant Teaching Professor in the Sound Design Department of Theatre at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, teaches at the Film Department of the Kansas City Art Institute, and holds the esteemed position of composer-in-residence with Escape To Create.
