Join us for an immersive, hands-on art camp designed to spark creativity and build confidence in young artists!
Instructor Elise Gilbert, a multidisciplinary artist and Program Manager at the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, brings professional artistic experience and a passion for arts education to the classroom. Holding BFAs in Studio Art and Art Education from the University of Arkansas, Elise specializes in sculpture and childhood art education. Her work has earned multiple recognitions, including selection as a sculptor for the Underwater Museum of Art. Through her teaching, she encourages creative exploration, artistic growth, and meaningful connections to the arts.
Young artists in Grades 3-4 will dive deeper into the creative process as they explore a different art medium each day! Campers will expand their skills in painting, ceramics, drawing, and sculpture while working on multi-step projects that encourage creativity and craftsmanship. Through guided instruction and personal experimentation, students will develop confidence in their artistic abilities while enjoying a week filled with hands-on discovery, collaborative art-making, and fun!
