Topic: Taking Compassionate Action in Challenging Times
Description:
As humanity, we are all connected. This is why we naturally feel the urge to help others in need. The fulfillment and joy that comes from uplifting or serving another can fill out hearts with meaning and gratitude. Yet how do we serve others without feeling overwhelmed or exhausting our own energy and inner light so we can have an even greater impact?
In our May talk, our speaker Simona Ondrejkova will explore the importance of self-care and cultivating the courage to take compassionate action in the face of difficult times and challenging situations – whether in the world or in our personal lives.
Bio: Simona Ondrejkova is the author of Dream, Doubt & Do It Anyway, a book that combines science with practical insights to help women overcome self-doubt so they feel confident going after their biggest dreams. Simona worked in finance for many years before starting her world travels, visiting 18 European countries in the last 2 years. She now helps mindfulness organizations bring meditation into the mainstream through her marketing company Mindful Copy Agency.
