Join Emerald Coast Storytellers for a night of storytelling, community, and connection. ECS Open Mic will take place Thursday, October 13th, from 6 – 8 PM at Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse. Wine, beer, and light bites will be available at Hibiscus, and craft cocktails will be provided, courtesy of Distillery 98.

This is a free event, and all are welcome to come to hang, sip, snap, and support. Please visit the link for more information for those interested in attending and/or taking the mic.

October theme: HORROR.

ECS will have ten 5-minute slots available (all genres welcome!), so please aim for a max of ~1,000 words. You don’t have to read your own work, but it is encouraged!

Whether you’re looking to tell a story, share a work in progress, read another writer’s work that rocked your world, find your audience, build your tribe, get feedback, or simply get outside of your comfort zone, consider this your sign.
