Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will host a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Sandestin Tennis Center to celebrate the start of a major expansion to its pickleball facilities. The public, partners, and members of the media are invited to attend.

The project, a nearly half-million-dollar investment in the resort’s recreational amenities, will add four new pickleball courts, complete with lighting and landscaping, bringing Sandestin’s total to 10 courts. Construction will be managed by Cajun Courts, an industry leader in the design and construction of tennis and pickleball facilities, with completion expected in November 2025. The new courts will be available for pay-to-play, as well as to members of the resort’s Tennis Club and Pickleball Club.

“I am very excited for our membership, homeowners, and resort guests to be able to play on dedicated pickleball courts to further develop their skills,” said Todd Hanson, Director of Tennis and Pickleball at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. “I am thankful for working with ownership and Cajun Courts to bring more pickleball courts to Sandestin.
