Come join our pottery instructor Mary Kay for a complete introduction on how to create four different cottage core kitchenware essentials for your kitchen!
Each student will learn the basic steps and techniques for creating a clay egg carton, egg separator, berry bowl, and cream pitcher during this 4 week course. Techniques to be discussed will include rolling slabs, score-and-slip, using forms, and how to pull a handle. Students will also learn how to apply underglaze transfers, selecting from various flower patterns and chickens. At the end of each class, students will select (up to 2) colors from our celadon glazes that Mary Kay will then finish their pieces with.
