Exciting news! Walton County Solid Waste is hosting Household Hazardous Waste Amnesty Days, where you can safely dispose of household hazardous waste at absolutely no charge! These awesome events happen twice a year, usually in spring and fall, and are held at two different locations around the county. It’s our way of helping you keep our environment clean and safe!

Locations:
-Walton County Landfill – 1118 Institution Road, DeFuniak Springs
-Topsail Hill Preserve State Park – 7525 W County Highway 30A, Santa Rosa Beach

Waste tire amnesty is happening on the same date, during the same hours, and at the same locations! Walton County residents can bring up to 4 tires per residence – let’s keep our streets clear!

And hey, got some old computer stuff lying around? We’ll take it off your hands! Processors, monitors, keyboards, printers – you name it, we’ll accept it with a smile.
