Alaqua Animal Refuge is celebrating the grand opening of their new, 100-acre facility in Freeport with a special event every Saturday in March! Come out TOMORROW, March 11th for the Inaugural Wellness Festival, from 10 am – 5 pm, to celebrate animals, humans, the earth, and how each coexists with one another and brings healing to the mind, body, and soul.

The festival will feature local vendors, workshops, food trucks, craft beers, and much more! There will also be several yoga classes, barre classes, and meditation classes taught on the Main Stage for guests to participate in along with nature tours and educational seminars throughout the property.

Guests are encouraged to donate $20 to Alaqua in exchange of attendance. All donations will go toward animal medical expenses, food, and care.
