Intro to Acrylic Painting – 4 week class

This four week intro class will discuss the techniques and basics of acrylic painting to include color theory, mixing, blending on different formats, brush stroke techniques, light and value, and brush care. Each week students will paint a subject matter on a different medium to learn how to blend, use contrasting colors, etc, to see how acrylic paint acts and comes to life when you paint on different backgrounds. *Students are required to provide their own brushes for this class – recommended sizes are number 12 and number 1.

Every Tuesday, January 9-30 • 5-7pm

Ages: 18 & up

Cost: $165 Member/ $180 Non-member

*Students required to provide brushes
