Join the Grayton Beach State Park staff and volunteers in the effort to restore native Longleaf Pine habitat. The Longleaf Restoration Project kicks off at 10 AM on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.
This project is vital for reinstating Longleaf Ecosystems to their natural balance before the influence of paper companies. By reducing Sand pines, we create an environment where the Longleaf pines planted in recent years can thrive. For more information and to sign up, please email [email protected].
Participants are encouraged to bring work gloves, sun-protective clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, close-toed shoes, long pants, and a refillable water bottle. Join us in making a positive impact on our environment!
