The Friends of Eden Gardens are happy to announce a series of family friendly, spooky, classic films played on an outdoor screen under the oak trees at Eden Gardens State Park. This fundraiser is presented each year during October by the Friends of Eden Gardens, a Citizen Support Organization that puts together this tremendous event to assist the park with funding of projects, events and activities throughout the year.
The film being shown on October 16th is “Hocus Pocus”. The film is about a teenager who accidentally frees a coven of evil witches who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.. Starring: Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy.
The event is free with paid park admission. Films will be shown on the lawn near the pavilion and guests are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, bug spray and coolers. Support the park by visiting our concessions where we will have popcorn, candy, soda, water and other beverages available for donations.
