Details

• Entries must check in with event coordinators at the stage between 4:15 and 4:45 pm. The contest will begin promptly at 5 pm.
• Participant’s entry number (provided at check-in for handlers to display) must be visible to judges
• Winners will be announced as soon as the contest is complete (1st & 2nd place for overall best costume)
• Entrants will be judged on costume design, creativity, humor, originality, behavior & charisma
• The judges’ decisions are final

Contest Rules:

1. Only dogs are allowed in the contest, please do not bring other animals
2. Dogs must be at least 6 months old
3. Costumes must be safe & comfortable
4. Dogs must wear ID tags at all times
5. Dogs must be on a leash (max 6 ft, lock retractable leashes at 6ft)
6. Dogs must be under your control at all times
7. Owners/handlers are responsible for the actions of their pet
8. Dogs must be clean & in good health, up to date on all shots including rabies vaccinations
9. No dogs in heat
10. Event coordinators reserve the right to refuse entry or excuse aggressive dogs from the event area
11. Dogs must be friendly with other pets, adults & children
12. Dogs must be well adjusted to crowds & noisy environments
13. Be prepared to clean up after your pet
