Summer is in full swing at The Island Resort, offering the perfect pairing for Florida’s sunshine with the inaugural Summer of Seltzer Festival on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Located on the Beach Patio by Tripp Tide Beach Bar, this 21+ event invites guests to sip on over 150 bubbly beverages from local and nationally-renowned brands.

The festival features distinct sections and tented areas, each offering a unique tasting experience. In “Spill the Tea,” guests can enjoy a range of hard teas including Too Turnt Tea, Sun Cruiser, and Twisted Tea, with White Claw 0% for designated drivers. “Pucker Up Buttercup” offers tart and tangy options like Simply Spiked Lemonade and Mike’s Hard Lemonade, while “Seltz Row” boasts a variety of classic seltzers including Truly, Topo Chico, Vizzy, Corona, and Modelo. For those who prefer a soda twist, “Soda Right this Sway” features Truly Vodka Soda, Dogfish Head Vodka Soda, and Fresca Mixed. The “Cocktail Can Can” section rounds out the offerings with canned cocktails from brands like Crown Royal, Waterbird, and Cayman Jack.

Beyond unlimited seltzer tastings, attendees can enjoy high-energy live music from Catalyst Music Rocks and friendly yard games. Delicious bites await from The Island Resort’s Tacos & Tequila food truck, serving up dishes like pollo asado tacos, birria rice bowls, and more.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Special Forces Association Chapter 7, aiding veterans, soldiers, and their families. In an effort to promote sustainability, Big Iron Environmental will provide recycling bins and donate to SFA Chapter 7 for every pound of aluminum recycled.
