Formed in 2006, Three Bean Soup is a father/daughter acoustic cover band made up of Mike Domulot (guitar and vocals), and Jamie Weis (vocals, violin, steel drum and kazoo).
The name Three Bean Soup comes from a soup that Mikes mother, Jamies grandmother, used to make when Mike was growing up. He comes from a family of 10 so this was a meal that was served often to feed their large family. Together they have spent the past 12 years traveling and playing throughout the gulf coast at a number of different venues, festivals, weddings, private parties and events. They specialize in putting their own spin on an eclectic mix of Folk, Rock, Country, Blues and Contemporary Pop spanning from the 60s to current day hits… a little bit of everything! Influences include: James Taylor, Jackson Browne, John Mayer, Stephen Bishop, Alison Krauss, Colin Hay, Norah Jones, Blues Traveler, Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Taylor Swift, Hall and Oates, Dan Fogelberg, Jewel, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Keb Mo, Styx, Sonny and Cher, Martha’s Trouble and many more.
Over the years, Mike and Jamie have acquired an abundance of fans and friends throughout the gulf coast of Florida and Alabama, many of whom make it a priority to see them perform when they are in their area. They are extremely attuned to each other musically and believe that working and playing together brings and keeps them closer as a family. They love to have fun on stage and getting the crowd involved. Their hope is not only that people watch and listen, but that they feel as if they are an extension of the band as well because they would not be where they are without the fans that support them. Their goal is to touch people, put smiles on their faces, and get them to have as much fun as they do.
