30A.com Acquires More Key URLs

Scenic Highway 30A, Florida – (June 23, 2009) – 30A.com acquired three new URLs this week, including 30Arealestate.com, 30Arentals.com and rent30A.com. They join the company’s growing portfolio of 30A-related web addresses.

“Our mission is to promote our home and local businesses in the most positive and effective way possible,” said Mike Ragsdale, who founded the company with his wife Angela nearly two years ago. “As we continue to grow the 30A brand, URLs like these will provide us with unique platforms for future growth.”



Ragsdale said that in addition to 30A.com and 30-A.com, the company currently manages over 100 different domain names related to Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A and South Walton, including 30Abeaches.com, 30AforRent.com, 30AforSale.com, coastaldunelakes.com, 30Adining.com, 30Ashopping.com, thebeachhighway.com, thebeachesofsouthwalton.com, 30Acondos.com and dozens of others.



30A.com also recently partnered with eight different retailers to sell 30A-branded shirts and products, including Cowgirl Kitchen in Rosemary Beach, Flip-Flops Grill in Seagrove, Amavida Coffee in Seaside, The Coffee House in WaterColor Crossings, The Zoo Gallery in Grayton Beach, Artists at Gulf Place in Dune Allen, JamBone in Santa Rosa Beach, and Kilwin’s in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Ragsdale said that the company donates 15 percent of all shirt profits to Children’s Volunteer Health Network, a local organization that provides free medical and dental care for uninsured children in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

“We started 30A.com as a hobby, but over time, we recognized a very real need and opportunity to help drive traffic to local businesses,” said Ragsdale, a “recovering entrepreneur” who once founded an interactive entertainment studio that employed over 60 writers, artists, animators and programmers. The company built award-winning communities and brands for AOL Time Warner, Microsoft, Playboy Entertainment and NTN Trivia, among others.

“We want to help create a brand that’s always positive and proactive,” said Ragsdale. “30A is obviously an extraordinary place, and it deserves its own unique voice and identity. Along with many others, we’re grateful that we have an opportunity to help contribute to that voice.”
