This year’s event will be held on Friday, April 10, at 7 p.m. at the newly remodeled Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Miramar Beach.
The event will challenge the creative talent and technical expertise of the area’s 11 top-nominated salons as they embark on a 24-hour makeover to transform their model from head to toe. Each salon has chosen a local Emerald Coast resident as their model, and they will take the stage at the event for their big “reveal” moment in a dazzling runway showcase.
Judges and attendees will cast their votes for the winning salon, which will receive a year-long advertising campaign in Emerald Coast Magazine, which puts on the event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the previously selected charity of choice of the winning salon team.
The 11 top salons selected to compete for the 2015 title and their chosen charity include: Avantgarde (Emerald Coast Advocacy Center); C’est La Vie (Taylor Haugen Foundation); Euphoria (Rescued Rescuers: Dachsunds & Friends); Fushion Spa Salon Sandestin (Shelter House); La Renaissance (Sacred Heart Cancer Center); Pure & Couture (Fisher House Emerald Coast); Rollands Beauty Bar (Impact 100 NW Florida); Sanabella Spa and Salon (E.O. Wilson Biophili Center); Serenity by the sea (Bay Area Foodbank); Cutting Room Salon & Spa (Wounded Warrior Project) and The Kat House (Autism Speaks).
This high-energy, dynamic event is open to the public. Tickets are $55 per person, which includes entry into the event, opportunity to bid on raffle and auction items, food and two complimentary drinks.
