The Mojito is a traditional Cuban drink known for being very refreshing which is why it makes such a great beach drink. The Great Southern Café in Seaside, Florida, makes different variations of mojitos including strawberry, peach, mango, cherry, coconut, watermelon and pineapple guava. You should try them all before choosing your favorite. (We don’t recommend trying them all in the same day!) The classic mojito, however, is an annual summer best seller at this popular Florida beach bar.
Don’t be intimidated by a mojito — crushing mint leaves and lime wedges together is as hard as it ever gets.
Classic Mojito Recipe at Great Southern Café

Putting it All Together
- Place limes, mint, lime juice, and simple syrup in a large tumbler and muddle until limes are juiceless. (If you don’t have a muddler, the back of a large spoon will work)

- Top off with a splash of soda water
- Shake and serve!
