Summer and Danny Margagliano and Justin Lyons
2013 ArtsQuest Featured Artist Justin Lyons recently met with South Walton firefighter Danny Margagliano and his daughter Summer to present a $1,625 check from Justin’s auctioned “Heart’s Quest” original painting to benefit Donations 4 Danny. The donation was 50 percent of the winning $3,250 bid made by David Braswell during ArtsQuest.
While presenting the check, the two bonded over their love of surfing and fatherhood, and when presenting the donation, Justin told Danny, “that’s what brothers are for.”
Donations 4 Danny supports the former firefighter/paramedic and his family on Danny’s inspirational journey to recover from a diving accident that left him paralyzed in 2012.
