The 52,000-square-foot center was built in 1985 and this is the first renovation it has ever undergone. Construction began in March and includes major exterior repairs, redesigned courtyards and walkways and an expansion of the lawn on the east side of the property to host festival and other special events.

Attendees are encouraged to sign in to get their Boarding Pass and stroll through each of the shops to receive a signature imprint from each merchant. Attendees that complete the full tour by filling their boarding pass will be entered to win the grand prize including two tickets on Southern Airways Express valued at over $1,000 and gift certificates from several Market Shops’ merchants. Several merchants will also feature their own exciting specials within their individual stores during the event.
Coastal Wine & Spirits, 850 Chaste and ABC Fine Wine & Spirits will be on-site during the event serving refreshing cocktails and unique wines to pair perfectly with appetizers by the Market Shops’ newest eatery, Bijoux. RSVP Event Rentals will provide décor, and entertainment will include a string trio from Sinfonia Gulf Coast as well as live acoustic music throughout the center.
