The new official lululemon store is located directly on Scenic Highway 30-A in the old LilyPads location, replacing the nearby lululemon “showroom” that was open for over four years.
A team of local experts spanning numerous fitness lifestyles have been named official lululemon Ambassadors, including Adam Christiansen, Patrick Hoffner, Tom Losee, Karen Meadows, Angela Ragsdale and Dru Sandy. The lululemon Ambassadors host classes, organize runs and activities, and generally promote a healthy and happy lifestyle.
“I was so flattered when I was asked to be an ambassador,” said Coach Karen Meadows, who is a USAT and USATF Certified Coach and Personal Trainer. “They’re bringing the community together in so many positive ways to enhance overall physical and emotional well being.”
In addition to exposure, lululemon provides its Ambassadors with numerous opportunities to advance their personal fitness expertise.
“Two years ago, I was invited to participate in lululemon’s first ‘Man Camp,’ held at the National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina,” said Ambassador Tom Losee of RUN/SUP. “Guys from around the southeast were invited for a two-day retreat that included everything from rope courses to whitewater rafting.”
“lululemon has been so successful in South Walton not only because they have a superior product, but the management team and educators really get involved in our community,” said lululemon’s Yoga Ambassador Angela Ragsdale. “They are all sweet, genuine people. Everyone here knows them and they support the community as a whole. You’ll see the lululemon team not only in all sorts of fitness and yoga classes across the area, but also volunteering, participating in and supporting local events and organizations.”
Business hours for the new lululemon store are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., and on Sundays from noon until 5 p.m.
