Mitchell’s Fish Market at Grand Boulevard will offer guests a chance to explore ‘Tastes of the Pacific Northwest,’ a four-course dinner on Wednesday, October 29th, at 7 p.m.
We all know that our Gulf Coast produces delicious fresh seafood and farm-fresh flavors, but this special dinner at Mitchell’s Fish Market will give locals and visitors a chance to explore a different part of the culinary world — The Pacific Northwest.
This special one-night-only dinner will feature a variety of delicious wines from Oregon and Washington, all paired with Mitchell’s fresh selections for $49.99 per person plus tax.
“We invite our guests to join us for a special night of food and wine pairings inspired by the bounty of the Pacific Northwest Coast,” said Will Wadsworth, Executive Chef of Mitchell’s Fish Market.
The ‘Tastes of the Pacific Northwest’ dinner will feature:
First Course: Sweet Corn and Crab Bisque with Spicy Pumpkin Seeds paired with King Estate “Signature Collection” Pinot Gris, Oregon
Second Course: Tempura-battered Pacific Oysters with Napa Cabbage Slaw and Spicy Aioli paired with Acrobat Pinot Noir 2012, Oregon
Third Course: Pan-roasted Alaskan Sablefish with Three Mushroom Risotto and Brussels Sprouts with Red Wine Reduction paired with North by Northwest Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
Fourth Course: Washington Apple Walnut Tart with Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream and Caramel Sauce paired with North by Northwest Horse Heaven Hills Dessert Riesling 2012
