The readers of Travel + Leisure magazine have selected WaterColor Inn & Resort as one of the top 100 hotels in the world, and also ranked the resort as #12 on the “World’s Best” list for the Continental United States. The publication asked readers to vote on the places they’ve stayed recently, and to share opinions on their favorite properties.
“We are honored to be selected as part of this exclusive list of resorts by the readers of Travel +Leisure,” said WaterColor Inn & Resort General Manager Andrew Czarnecki. “Our stunning location on the beach, plus the warm and welcoming service our staff provides to guests, keeps them coming back and ranking us as a top destination.”
WaterColor Resort joins other prestigious properties on the “World Best” list, including another Noble House Hotel & Resort, LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort in Naples, Florida. WaterColor Inn & Resort is located along Northwest Florida’s Emerald Coast on scenic byway 30A and nestled between Grayton Beach and Seaside, Florida. Accommodations range from the intimate WaterColor Inn — with a cozy, relaxed feel of a beach home featuring rooms overlooking the pristine sugar white sand and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico — to the resort’s charming one-to-six bedroom vacation homes; roomy enough for groups or families to vacation together. Many of the homes are just a short walk to the beach and surround scenic Western Lake.
WaterColor Inn & Resort caters to guests of all ages, offering numerous amenities including a BeachClub, several swimming pools, tennis center, spa, and Kids Camp. Complimentary bicycles, kayaks, canoes and Kids Camp sessions make it easy for guests to enjoy all the resort has to offer in the 499-acres.
Golf fans have three courses to choose from: the Tom Fazio-designed Camp Creek Golf Club, the Greg Norman-designed Shark’s Tooth Golf Club, and the Origins course designed by Davis Love III for family and short play. WaterColor Resort’s highly acclaimed Fish Out of Water restaurant overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and features Chef de Cuisine Lawrence Klang’s specialties made from locally sourced and organic ingredients.
