Capitalizing on a new “Fashion Truck” trend being reported by sites such as CNN, The TODAY Show, USA Today (and even the local 30A Street Style blog!), a new 30A Truck will soon meander its way along Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A.

Complete with its own live webcam, GPS app locator and a free wi-fi hot spot zone for guests, the 30A Truck is a creatively modern twist on a classic ice cream truck.

But instead of serving frozen treats, the 30A Truck will sell branded 30A T-shirts, hats, Tervis Tumblers, beach gear, key chains, 30A YOLO Boards and much more. The truck will even sell CDs by local musicians, as well as other authentic local items.

“The 30A Truck will not only help us deliver orders to local retailers, but will also help us draw fans to local events and businesses,” said 30A’s Mike Ragsdale, noting that shoppers will always be able to find the truck’s precise location using 30A’s free iPhone and Android apps.

Ragsdale said that the 30A Truck will be found most days in its “home base” (location to be announced soon), but will also show up to help support special local events. The 30A Truck’s design was created by local artist Becky Wagley and the graphics are currently being installed by Print Press Graphics.
