September Sales in Review: 30A Beaches

September saw a dip in the 30A Beaches real estate market as Sales fell slightly with 106 properties closed and 62 new contracts secured for homes and condominiums combined. The market throughout 30A is still incredibly strong with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recording 30 sides and nearly $38 million in sales volume.
2022 marked the start of not only the fall season but a solid sales year for the local real estate market. September was a whirlwind of activity across the 30A master-planned communities and for good reason.
The brokerage had over $67 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during the month of September.
A five-bedroom, gulf-view residence in Alys Beach was the highest-priced single-family home to sell at $13 million. The highest-priced condo sold was a three-bedroom, gulf-front penthouse in Compass Point at WaterSound Beach at $4.387 million.
