6:15 PM CDT – From Walton County Officials: “The Clyde B. Wells (U.S. Highway 331) Bridge is currently closed.
It was briefly opened to motorists, but conditions were reassessed and the bridge is again closed until further notice. Please continue to be patient as we work to reassess the safety of the bridge to determine when it will be safe to allow motorists to cross”
4:48 PM CDT – Image from Rosemary Beach shows road debris, no visible damage.
4:43 PM CDT – There are power outages across 30A. Please check these sites for a map of where outages have been reported. Gulf Power and Chelco
UPDATE from Walton County: Debris is being cleared from the US 331 bridge on the south side, bridge remains closed as of 4:40 PM CDT but curfew has been lifted. Citizens should stay OFF the roads to allow crews and public safety vehicles to get through.
Hurricane Michael tosses gas station in Rosemary Beach
One of the first signs of storm damage our crew in Florida captured as Hurricane Michael hit. We’ll have more tonight at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.

Head over to the 30A Facebook Page for more updates. We are also streaming the Vue on 30A Live Cam based near Gulf Place on Highway 30A at regular intervals. (*power went out on our Live Cam around 1:25 PM CDT. It is still currently out but we will re-set when it returns)

10:15 AM CDT – 30A is contacted by NBC News for permission to use our Live Beach Cam feed. We give permission. Feed picked up by several other news outlets across the country. (*Editor’s Note: 30A’s Live Beach Cam feed will continue until the power goes out at approximately 1:25 PM)
