Golfers will have a chance to hit the links for a good cause when the Golf4TheCure Gulf Coast Tournament returns to Sandestin this September, bringing a full day of golf, food, music and family-friendly fun.
The tournament follows a two-person scramble format and welcomes players of all skill levels, with activities continuing into the evening.
The event will take place Friday, September 11, 2026, at Raven Golf Club at Sandestin, bringing together golfers, sponsors, volunteers and families for a day benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Check-in and lunch begin at 11 a.m., followed by announcements and rules at 12:15 p.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
Along with the golf, participants can look forward to player gifts, hole contests, raffle prizes and awards. The evening continues with an awards and celebration dinner at 6 p.m., followed by live music, a kids zone, raffles and giveaways beginning at 6:30 p.m. The day concludes with a Lighting of the Lanterns ceremony at 8 p.m.
“We are thrilled to bring this event back for another incredible year!” said tournament founder Scott Erby. “This September, we proudly stand with St. Jude to fight childhood cancer because hope, love and healing should never be out of reach.”
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and proceeds from the tournament will support the work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families receiving care at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food.
Those who do not plan to golf can still take part. Businesses and individuals can sponsor the tournament, including sponsoring a hole in honor of a loved one, and volunteer opportunities are also available.
