Two nights of inspiring films under the stars — Nov 6 & 7, 2026
Two nights of inspiring films under the stars — Nov 6 & 7, 2026
One of South Walton’s favorite fall traditions, the 26th annual Mountainfilm on Tour, returns to WaterColor’s Marina Park Amphitheater on November 6 and 7, 2026, bringing two evenings of adventure, powerful storytelling and documentary film to 30A.
And if Mountainfilm is already part of your fall tradition, now is the time to make plans: tickets are on sale now, with discounted advance pricing available through September 30. Buy tickets here.
Think blankets on the lawn, tall pines overhead, a big screen glowing after dark and stories from around the world unfolding beneath a South Walton night sky.
Each year, Mountainfilm on Tour takes a selection of documentary short films from the annual Mountainfilm festival in Telluride on the road.
The films span cultures, places and perspectives, with stories centered on adventure, environmental preservation and global cultures.
Expect films that entertain, surprise, and inspire, along with the kind of breathtaking cinematography that feels especially at home on a giant outdoor screen.
A Mountainfilm presenter will guide the audience through each evening’s program, sharing additional context about the featured films, filmmakers and subjects.
The individual 2026 WaterColor film lineup will be added as it becomes available.

Planning ahead pays off this year.
Advance Tickets are $40 for a single night or $70 for the weekend through September 30. Prices increase to $50/$90 from October 1 through November 5, and to $60/$110 on event days, if tickets remain available. Taxes and processing fees are additional.

The event takes place rain or shine, and tickets are non-refundable unless Mountainfilm is canceled or postponed.

The films are a big part of the draw, but Mountainfilm at WaterColor has become just as much about the experience of watching them together.
As daylight fades over Marina Park, blankets and chairs begin filling the lawn. The screen lights up, the crowd settles in and for the next few hours, South Walton becomes a window into mountains, oceans, communities and adventures happening far beyond the beach.
It is part film festival, part fall night out and part 30A tradition.
Food, wine, beer and liquor will be available for purchase before and during the show, making it easy to settle in and stay for the evening. Outside food, drinks and coolers are not permitted inside the event gates.
Turn Mountainfilm into a getaway with packages that include tickets plus accommodations at nearby St. Joe properties: WaterColor Inn, The Lodge 30A, Camp Creek Inn, and Watersound Inn.
