We are very excited to share that as of August 3, 2023, with your help, we achieved the 3,000 pre-registrations necessary for 30A’s Scenic Walton charity tags to become a reality. Florida’s Department of Motor Vehicles is now manufacturing the tags, which are available to all Florida residents.

100% of revenue generated by these specialty license plates goes directly to Scenic Walton, a nonprofit that promotes beautification projects throughout Walton County, including landscaping roadways, improving pedestrian and cyclist paths, and under-grounding overhead utilities. This is the only license plate that generates revenue exclusively for Walton County.

The license plate costs $66.90 at a tax collector’s office and $72.35 online (including a $5.45 shipping fee), with an annual renewal fee of $30 thereafter. As a result, the charity will receive a minimum of $75,000 per year to help secure grants and other resources to facilitate improvements across Walton County.
