Local artist Allison Wickey will be heading abroad to the South of France in June to lead a once-in-a-lifetime artists’ retreat.

Two weeklong sessions will be held at the Rhone Retreat, a bed and breakfast built in the 1800s in Gaujac, located in France’s picturesque Provence region. The retreat has on-site farm-to-table catering, massages, and its own pool.

Artists and beginners alike are invited to attend the retreats, which will be held June 2-8 and June 10-16, 2015.

Wickey will take participants step-by-step through her process using Venetian plaster and glazes to create their own original pieces to take home.
